The house is situated in the picturesque village of Cellardyke in the East Neuk of Fife, only ten miles from St. Andrews. It is newly renovated and decorated to ensure a high standard of self catering holiday accommodation.
The house is a five minute walk to the beautiful Anstruther Harbour. Anstuther or Anster is the largest and busiest of the East Neuk coastal towns. It was, until 50 years ago , a busy fishing village, but the demise of the North Sea herring shoals around this time saw fishing disappear.
Anstuther is now a bustling town with a varity of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants, mainly speciallising in seafood. It is also ideally situated if you are attending the Pittenweem Arts Festival in August.
